Type: CTM pumps
Description: CTM pumps are used in most industries where liquids are pumped. The pumps handle many types of low and normal viscous clean liquids such as chemical aggressive and toxic.
How they work: The power from the motor is transmitted to the centrifugal impeller by means of a magnetic coupling. A so called isolation shell between the drive magnet and the impeller magnet separate the liquid side from the drive.
Typical applications
Industry Example of application Chemical stockists: Transfer of various chemicals from storage tanks to smaller containers Surface treatment: Transfer, filtering and circulation of surface treatment baths Food and beverage: Pumping of CIP detergent used for cleaning of pipes and other food process equipment Water treatment: Dosing of acids and alkalis used as cleaning chemicals in nanofiltration Chemical manufacture: Pumping of chemicals in industrial detergent equipment Demineralizing: Demi-water circulation and transfer in many industrial applications Photo processing: Transfer of photo develop chemicals and inclusion in processing machines Liquid crystal manufacture: Pumping of concentrated acids and alkalis

Type: Tapflo centrifugal pumps Industrial
Description: A very simple and ingenious design, with only 19 different components grants for easy and quick maintenance, in many cases completely maintenance free. The effect is very short down time and extremely low maintenance costs.
Standard single mechanical seal provides a wide range of seal face materials – ceramic, graphite, SiC and o-rings in EPDM, FKM or FEP.
The open impeller is insensitive for solids (max 6 mm). Semi open impeller for heavy duty applications is available as option.
Casing and impeller components in glass blast stainless steel AISI 316L have a great compatibility with many mild chemicals.
Flushed seal, Ideal when abrasive or sticky particles are present. This system where a small amount of the pumped product is recirculated from the discharge side to the seal chamber, will save the mechanical seal and seal chamber from being worn
Features & Benefits:
Made from stainless steel- Strong and durable
Open impeller- Can handle solids up to 6 mm
Few components- Easy to maintain
Closed coupled motor- Compact and space saving

Type: Diaphragm Pumps - Aluminium & Cast Iron Pumps
Description: Metal series diaphragm pumps
The compact, smooth and simple design is common for this series. Materials available are aluminium, cast iron, stainless steel and PTFE coated aluminium.
Aluminium and cast iron pumps : For transfer of pH-neutral fluids, both thin, thick, solid laden or abrasive. The aluminium and cast iron pumps are found in most fields; work shop and paint industries, purifying plants etc., to mention only a few.
AISI 316 stainless steel pumps: Made in lost wax cast method, ensuring great accuracy and finish. The stainless steel pumps combine great mechanical strength with good chemical features. AISI 316 is resistant to aggressive liquids like nitric acid and sodium hydroxide. The centre unit, which is not in contact with liquid, is made from corrosive resistant polypropylene (PP) as standard (other materials upon request).
ATEX certified pumps: All metal pumps are available in explosion proof ATEXmarked version. They are supplied with earth connection and conductive materials; conductive centre section (on AISI 316 pump), diaphragms in PTFE (conductive back) or EPDM(conductive).
Applications:
Industry Example of application Workshop: Oil, fat, solvents, water, cooling fluid, lubricants Print & paint: Glue, additives, varnish, ink, paint, latex, acid, resins, pigments Mining & construction: Adhesives, sump, dewatering, coal sludge, pastes Ceramic industry: Abrasives, glaze, water, enamels, clay Chemistry: Acids, alkalis, alcohol, solvents, latex, emulsions -
Type: Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps
Description: PE & PTFE series pumps
Tapflo pumps made from polyethylene (PE) or virgin PTFE plastics are suitable for handling almost any kind of liquid whether it is viscous, chemically aggressive or with solids.
Few components and a simple but ingenious design is peculiar for all Tapflo pumps. It is a compact pump, easy and quick to maintain, keeping your service costs and process down time to a minimum.
Polyethylene (PE HD) has a superior wear resistance which is 6 – 7 times better than for polypropylene (PP). This fact makes the pump suitable for handling abrasive slurries etc. PE is resistant to most kind of aggressive chemicals such as concentrated acids and alkalis. Maximum liquid temperature is 70°C.
PTFE (virgin polytetrafluorethylene) is a thermoplastic polymer with superior chemical resistance. The PTFE pump will handle even the most aggressive acids, for instance concentrated nitric acid. Maximum liquid temperature is up to 100°C.
Application:
Chemical: Acids, alkalis, alcohol, solvents, latex, emulsions Food: CIP fluid, flavouring, pigments Pulp & Paper: Glue, slurries, adhesives, dispersions, resins, sodium silicate, titanium oxide Surface conditioning: Electroplating baths, various acids, solvents, anodic sludge, varnish, enamels Water treatment: Sludge handling, filter press applications, neutralization and flocculants Electronics: Carrier fluids, ultra pure liquids, electroplating solutions, mercury, solvents Print & Paint: Glue, additives, varnish, ink, paint, latex, acid, resins, pigment -
Type: Sanitary Pumps
Hygienic design - made from electropolished stainless steel AISI 316L to meet the requirements in hygienic installations.
Description: The Tapflo sanitary series is particularly designed to meet the requirements of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Lubrication free air distribution system, maintenance free ball check valve system and total visual inspection of the wetted parts are some of the major features for this pump series. The materials used on certain models comply with the FDA guidelines.
Application:
Industry Example of application Dairy products: Milk, cream, yogurt, cream cheese, melted cheese Grossery: Ketchup, mayonnaise, tomato products, mustard Beverages: Flavours, colouring, fruit juice Bakery: Dough, ingredients Brewery: Beer, flavours, colouring, wort Hygiene: Soap, toothpaste, schampoo Cosmetics: Cream, alcohol, perfume Made to be clean
Our design allows for total visual inspection of the wetted parts. There are no hidden areas where bacteria can grow. The manifold clamps and the housing screws are simply removed for complete disassembly and cleaning. The pump is also designed for cleaning and sterilization in place – C.I.P. and S.I.P. After such operations, the pump is easily turned in its support for drainage. -
Type: Tapflo Vertical Pumps
Description: CTV is a single stage vertical centrifugal pump that is simple but very reliable in duty. The pump is specialized for transfer and circulation of various liquids from containers, sumps and tanks.
How they work: CTV is installed vertically with the motor above the liquid surface. In this way the pump does not need any mechanical seal that usually is a source for leakage problems. Further on the pump is designed to be dry running safe.
In many installations the CTV pump replaces a self priming pump. The pump head of the CTV is submersed in the liquid. The pump operates more reliable compared with a self priming pump. The submersion depth is 419-425 mm (depending on model) but may also be equipped with a suction extension.
Materials: CTV is manufactured from PP (polypropylene), PVDF or stainless steel AISI 316L.
PP (polypropylene) is suitable for most type of chemicals at temperatures up to 70°C. Ideal for pickling baths and acid degrease solutions etc.
PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) has superior chemical and mechanical features. Ideal with hot acids up to 100°C, for example hot hydrofluoric acid.
Stainless steel pumps are ideal at higher temperatures, up to 100°C and in special applications like hot sodium hydroxide.
All wetted metal components are made from corrosion resistant stainless steel AISI 316L.
For special applications like handling of chromium nickel, electro polished models are available.Typical applications
