Type: Teflon Hose - Convoluted Smooth Bore
Description: Hyperline FX is a new and revolutionary solution to all these problems, providing a unique and patented hose liner design which is flexible in the larger bore sizes, yet which retains a smooth bore. The advantage of a smooth bore as compared with a convoluted bore is that it is easy clean, and does not create “turbulent flow”, which drastically reduces fluid flow rates.
Description: Pharmaline N includes a grade 316 stainless steel wire braid for additional strength and resistance to high internal pressures.
Temperature: Limitations Usable from -73˚C, -100˚F up to +204˚C, +400˚F.
Vacuum Limitations: Pharmaline N and X hose is usable at vacuum to -0.9bar up to 150˚C, 302˚F.
Rolling U Test for Flex Life: More than 15x the flex life to failure compared with other types of rubber covered, smoothbore PTFE lined hose products.
Flexibility: Much less force to bend than any other equivalent smooth bore PTFE lined hose product.

Type: Teflon - Smoothbore Hose
Description: Smoothbore hose comprises a straight PTFE tube liner and a stainless steel outer braid, and is the basic PTFE hose design being used successfully in many automotive and general-purpose applications. Aflex hose supply a range of sizes and options, including plastic or rubber outer covers over the braid, printed if required. Other applications include use with high-pressure steam and gasses, refrigerants, hot oils, and other hot or corrosive fluids.
Hose Liner: Seamless extruded PTFE tube. The extrusion, heat treatment and quality control programmes are designed to produce the best quality PTFE tube possible, ensuring minimum porosity and maximum fl exibility.
Hose Braid: Braided from AISI grade 304 stainless steel wire, bright hard drawn to a minimum 1700 N/mm2 tensile strength. The braiding process is closely controlled to ensure even tensions and the correct braid angle, to give minimum expansion/contraction under pressure.Learn More
